I teach not to copy, but to understand. Instead of mechanical memorization,
I give an understanding of the physics and logic of movements. This turns training into a conscious process and speeds up your progress.
my mission is to find happiness in what I live for — surfing, surfskate, and surf trips — and to turn this experience into a source of happiness and progress for others
*The Core of My Approach
If video recording and structure help to see and break things down, surfskate is where it all comes together - to feel and lock in the movement. This is the foundation of my approach and the reason why my students progress so quickly.

Feel and Lock it In
sports camp format
A surf trip is a sports camp format, a place where your potential is revealed to the maximum. Two training sessions per day, constant practice, and dozens of waves every day make a week in camp more valuable than months of chaotic surf sessions at home.
sports camp with full immersion
I turn the complex into the simple. We break down each movement step by step, both on land and on the surfskate, so the result becomes achievable for everyone.

video analysis of mistakes
Video review is the mirror for your surfing. It allows you to see your mistakes from the outside and understand how your surfing really looks. This speeds up learning: you don’t just hear the comments, you clearly see what needs to be improved.

for me, surfskate is not an auxiliary tool, but the key to progress. This is where the understanding of movements is built, muscle memory is created, and confidence is formed — without these, progress in the water is impossible.
online coaching makes it possible to train with me from anywhere in the world. Video reviews, Zoom sessions, and practical materials make the learning process as close as possible to personal training.

Andrey, hey! I just wanted to thank you once again for the Mentawai trip. I’m really happy you invited me, and I’m always stoked to be part of your surf trips — it’s a truly unique experience 🏄‍♂️
The way you dive so deeply into the learning process, how precisely you can break down each student’s mistakes into molecules and give priceless advice that instantly levels up our...
I trust my surfing to Andrey completely
Dima
A techie to the core, he has an unstoppable desire to surf like a pro — something he passes on to his students from day one. He constantly makes insane progress himself while sharing all his new tricks and personal experience with his students. An endless treasure chest of knowledge, maximum value and efficiency — that’s what you get here...
Mentawai with Andrey — one love!
Ilya
This is already my third surf trip with Andrey, and I have no doubts who I’ll be with for the 4th, 5th, 6th, and beyond!
Every aspect of the trip is thought out — from the airport to the spot! You just pay a very reasonable price and can focus only on surfing the best waves in the world under the careful guidance of the best coach in Bali!
What did I do to deserve all this happiness?
Vasily
Andrey, hi. Thanks for taking me on the trip — I’m really glad. On the first day, I was sitting at Burger thinking, “What did I do to deserve all this happiness?”
I worked on my pumps, trained my eye, started doing turns — we’ll keep working on that with you later. And the crew turned out to be awesome.
I’m out of energy, but I’m happy...
thanks to the sensei for the progress!
Igor
Everything was top-level! This time I didn’t get swept away at Main. Used up a whole jar of vaseline — next trip I’ll take two. Food — 5 stars, massages — top! The video breakdowns — the best, thanks to the sensei for the progress! Special thanks to the cameraman — ding-diling! The crew was just perfect! Came back a different person — went straight to my therapist.
The whole training process is structured
Stas
The trip to Korea turned out to be a complete surprise for me. At first, what made me suspicious about Andrey — which is unusual for surf coaches — was that everything with him is super clear and organized. The whole training process is structured, and you always know exactly what you need to do — all that’s left is to go out on the wave and practice...
sooo cool. Bro, thanks!!!
Dmitry
Thanks for organizing an AWESOME surf trip on the artificial wave in Korea. I’m still blown away! The training is of the highest quality, and the video breakdowns are super effective. Andrey explains everything in detail, digging deep into every nuance — all you need to do is trust him and follow his recommendations.
For each lesson, he gives personalized...
It was the best week of surfing progress in my life
Sergey
Andrey, hi! Writing this from the airport while the impressions are still fresh. Thanks again for the camp — it was the most useful surf week of my life 💪 I came to master a shorter funboard, but in reality, I got much more from the camp: I now understand the right path for my progress — through good, maneuverable longboards. I’m not chasing shortboards anymore; I’m focused...
If you want real progress for your surfing
Kirill
This is already my fourth camp in a row and as someone who started from zero I can say one thing - the amount of practice here is insane. Knowing that you get around 30 waves in a single day helps you progress way faster than in the ocean. I ride a mid-length board and I really like that you can adjust the wave settings for different boards and practice specific...
I also love the atmosphere no ego no pressure
Dmitriy
Bro the camp was insane as always. I have been traveling with you for more than three years and honestly all my surf progress is thanks to you. You are the only coach who doesn’t just say surf more and it will come but actually breaks down technique step by step and explains it in a way that makes sense. Every session has a purpose with clear daily goals focus on one key mistake...
you’re not just a coach — you’re a bro
Andrey
your attitude toward progress in the camp is on the level of high science!
you don’t just show how to surf — you explain why the board behaves a certain way, why a movement doesn’t work, and how to fix it. after each breakdown, i feel my surfing becoming more conscious, like another piece of the puzzle falls into place...
it’s about fundamentally leveling up your board skills from start to finish
Anvar
Recently went on a surf trip to Korea with Andrey, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many trips we’ve done together. Andrey’s a total tech nerd when it comes to his teaching style—think next-level breakdown of every detail. This isn’t just about catching waves; it’s about fundamentally leveling up your board skills from start to finis...

Freedom, Humor, Friendship
The atmosphere of my surf trips is created by people: active, curious, easy-going, and positive. This is no coincidence — it’s exactly this kind of people who are drawn here, and
during the trip we become true friends.

How fast will I see progress?
Progress will already be noticeable during the first camp, if you’re riding a board that matches your level and have covered the basics in the whitewater and lineup.
What kind of people usually come (age, level, values)?
The camps attract active, curious, easy-going people with a sense of humor. Most are entrepreneurs and freelancers around 30 years old from Indonesia, Russia, and Europe.
The surfing level is usually intermediate, on shortboards. People choose me because they value the high level of service and the quality of the surf trips: they’ve already tried different formats and know the difference between an average camp and a well-designed trip with the best conditions and attention to detail.
Will it work for me if I’m a beginner?
Yes, some of my camps are suitable for beginners. all you need is some whitewater basics, first steps in the lineup and the ability to ride a hardboard, this is enough to start progressing in the camp.
What guarantees do I have that I’ll catch plenty of waves and won’t waste the trip?
If you have the right board for your level, have covered the basics in the whitewater and lineup, and have the stamina to surf for 2 hours, then it’s a 100% guarantee — you’ll catch plenty of waves and definitely won’t waste your trip.
What does a typical day in a surf trip look like?
A typical day starts with morning stretches and a light warm-up. Then a light breakfast and the first surf session. After surfing we have a full breakfast, mistake analysis and rest. lunch is at midday and the second surf session is at sunset. In the evening we have dinner, video review, set goals for the next day, and relax.
What’s included in the program?
Accommodation is always included. Details about transfers, tickets, and boards differ by location — check the description of each specific trip.
How does online coaching work — is it really effective without being physically present?
It’s simple: you send me your surf videos, and we meet on Zoom. In one hour we can review up to 20 waves — from technique and wave selection to surf psychology. I show how to do it correctly, compare with my own examples, and give surfskate tasks to lock it in. The result: clear goals and understanding of what to work on next.
how many people are in a group?
Mentawai: up to 7 people, G-Land: 5–6 people, Korea:5–6 people, Maldives: 10–12 people.
Will the wave level and load be right for me?
different trips are appropriate for different skill levels, please see the surf trip schedule for the description to see if your level is suitable for the desired trip.
If I travel alone, will I be able to fit into the atmosphere?
Of course! Most people come to camp alone, and once there, everyone quickly becomes friends. The vibe is friendly, and no one stays alone — we spend the whole day together as one big crew.
