We drill it on land and apply it in the water!
you’ll surf with waterproof headphones and receive short, clear comments right after every wave. i stand on the bridge and give instant feedback — what went well and what to adjust on the next wave. you don’t need to wait for a video analysis to spot small mistakes — you can correct them right away, wave by wave. this real-time guidance helps you improve much faster and build a solid technique.
at the end of each day, we do a detailed video breakdown with clear examples and explanations. together, we highlight one main mistake to focus on — the one you’ll work on and correct in your next session. this approach helps you progress step by step with full understanding of your technique.
If video recording and structure help to see and break things down, surfskate is where it all comes together - to feel and lock in the movement. This is the foundation of my approach and the reason why my students progress so quickly.
The leisure program always remains partly improvised:
we adapt to the wishes of the group and current events in the city, so each adventure becomes unique.
we'll go on a scenic hike to the highest mountain in Seoul with stunning city views. Afterwards, we walk through famous districts like Gangnam and Hongdae, visit contemporary art exhibition and possibly other cultural events.
we'll have a morning training, then a walk around the city, we'll visit some popular places, some examples may include: ddp plaza, arario museum, high-fashion & streetwear shops of korean brands, as well as iconic korean cosmetics.

We practice movements on land and then lock them in on the artificial wave — this gives progress 10 times faster than with classic ocean training. The results have been proven by 20 completed camps.

Artificial wave — the perfect place to get into surfing in a comfortable and safe environment: no reefs, no crowds, no salty water. Just pure practice, fun, and fast progress.

Groups are divided by skill level, and each gets a suitable wave:
  • Beginners ride a soft and mellow wave to safely master the basics.
  • Intermediates get a more dynamic wave to practice maneuvers and improve technique.
  • Advanced surfers train on a powerful wave, allowing them to practice vertical turns and small barrels.

Each surf camp includes 6 training days (12 surf sessions).
One full rest day is included with a hike to the highest mountain in Seoul and a half-day off: the first half — training, the second — a city walk.

Check-in at the hotel happens one day before the camp starts, so participants can rest and prepare. Departure is the day after the camp ends.

In total, the program takes 8 nights.

We stay in a brand-new modern hotel, built at the end of 2023, right in the heart of the wave park district. The rooms overlook both the city and the wave. The wave park is just a 5-minute walk away.

The hotel offers a sauna, swimming pool, and every room is a fully equipped apartment with a balcony, modern kitchen, fridge, washing machine, and coffee maker. Spacious, bright, and very comfortable — perfect for combining rest, training, and comfort.

about (the wave)
The wave has multiple difficulty settings, allowing surfing at any level: from complete beginners standing on the board for the first time to confident intermediates and advanced riders. After running 20 surf camps here, I’ve studied all modes of this wave in detail, know its specifics, and which sections are best for training.

This is a true training ground: no waiting, no fighting for priority, no guessing if you’ll catch a wave — all focus goes directly to riding and technique. The minimum number of waves per session is 10, maximum 22–25.

Additionally, the park has a surfskate ramp that allows you to work on elements on land and immediately transfer them into the water. This combination makes the surf camp unique and highly effective, with progress that is fast and clear.

We train on the artificial WaveGarden WavePool — a technology installed in many countries and considered one of the best in the world. The longest wave of this type is located right here in Korea.

How to define your level?
never tried surfing or started just recently. Your goal is a confident take-off, riding along the wave wall, and gaining speed.
you can paddle into a wave and take off, ride along the wall, and start gaining speed. You’re learning cutbacks and linking basic maneuvers.
you confidently hold speed and do cutbacks. Your goal is fast top turns, snaps, and first rides into small barrels.
